Current investors are the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the European Union, KfW Development Bank, Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO)Oesterreichische Entwicklungsbank (OeEB) , Germany's GLS Bank and the Dutch Development Bank FMO.

In addition, the Fund is open to various types of investors such as development finance institutions, international financial institutions as well as private investors. Finance in Motion and Sal. Oppenheim have also joined as private investors.
