In cooperation with Sharakeh – the Palestinian Microfinance Network the Technical Assistance Facility of the SANAD Fund is organizing a two-day sector workshop for MFIs, which will introduce participants to the fundamentals of risk management and their integration into sound and prudent internal audit and controls.



This technical workshop shall introduce internal auditors and credit and risk officers of MFIs to a proactive, risk-based approach to internal audit and control. Through a combination of lectures with practical case studies, participants shall enhance their knowledge and skills to manage and improve the quality of their institutions’ risk management functions. In particular, participants shall understand the importance of sound and prudent internal audit and controls, which  incorporate the fundamentals of risk management, and how these are effectively implemented within their institutions.
