Eligibility Criteria for Partner Institutions / Clients

Though becoming a partner institution of the SANAD Fund for MSME is not a question of size or specialization, there are 3 key eligibility criteria:

MSME orientation

• Strategic orientation towards micro, small and medium enterprises, including approach, policies and procedures
• Minimum thresholds in outreach and regional diversification

Financial strength

• Maintenance of minimum key financial ratios
• Qualified management and sound internal systems and processes, e.g. risk management policies, management information systems and internal controls

ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance)

• Maintenance and active promotion of good governance, integrity and transparency standards
• Adoption of international and local social and environmental guidelines (e.g. exclusion lists)
• Adherence to Responsible Finance principles
